Frequent fliers have changed their patterns since March. Passenger loads are a small fraction of their pre-COVID-19 levels, and airlines are no longer providing meals. Packaged and wrapped foods are the new normal on every flight.
But for those who miss their airline meals, there is an option. Gate Gourmet, the purveyor of food to airlines the world over, are offering home delivery of their meals to those who have a nostalgic need to enjoy the taste of a trip that might have been.
As reported in the Wall Street Journal, sadly, they are not yet sold in US markets.
