Fiddler on the Roof once won a special Tony award for becoming the longest-running Broadway musical of all time, but the FSCJ Artist Series’ production will only be performed at Jacksonville’s Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts for six days total, beginning Tuesday, Nov. 2 and running through Sunday, Nov. 11.
Director Bartlett Sher’s take on the beloved musical about faith and family traditions will include choreography from acclaimed Israeli dance professional Hofesh Shechter and, of course, classic songs like “Tradition,” “Sunrise, Sunset,” and “To Life,” first introduced by Joseph Stein, Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick in 1964.
