As you make your way through the Tallahassee International Airport, you may have noticed the art gallery in the concourse before the TSA checkpoint. Starting Jan. 15, “The Art of Florida Cartoonists” will be on display at the appropriately named Artport Gallery.
The exhibition will show the work of cartoonists, illustrators and storyboard artists who have worked in Florida, selected from the collection of the National Cartoonists Society’s Florida chapter.
The comic strips “Mother Goose and Grimm” and “Blondie,” and the work that brought “Woody Woodpecker” and “Lilo & Stitch” to the screen will be featured in the show, running through March.
