With the convergence of flu season and coronavirus, doctors say it’s more important than ever to get a flu shot this year.
While the flu shot is recommended every year, less than half of Americans get vaccinated; but, this year, it could help prevent a “twindemic.” Moreover, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend getting the vaccine now, before the flu season gets underway.
Even if you are strictly adhering to social distancing, doctors still recommend leaving your bubble briefly to get the flu vaccine, in order to protect yourself, your family and anyone you come into contact with.
