Whether you’re a college student, a working professional or even a legislator staying in Tallahassee over the weekend, Providence Canyon State Park — also known as Georgia’s “Little Grand Canyon” — can offer you a much-needed, unique getaway that’s still relatively close to home.
Located just about two and a half hours from Florida’s capital city, the state park boasts massive gullies as deep as 150 feet, which make it the perfect spot for a Insta-worthy “selfie” or even a quiet moment of meditation.
The state park is open every day from 7AM to 6PM, and there is a $5 parking fee.
