Money in politics is likened to water running downhill. It finds its way. Are campaigns finding their way into your email and text messages? What are your limits to giving in Florida elections?
Candidates for the state legislature may receive contributions of up to $1,000 for each election cycle, the primary and the general election. Those contributions can be made until five days before each election. The total limit to a candidate is $2,000 from an individual, and $2,000 from a business entity.
Local elections may have other limitations, so do check with your county supervisor of elections before contributing.
