The week of April 20 begins a series of conference calls led by Gov. Ron DeSantis to determine how to strategically and thoughtfully “re-open” the state amid COVID-19.
The task force, once officially announced, is expected to include South Florida mayors whose counties have been hit the hardest, restaurant and tourism leaders, agriculture, education and health care professionals, along with business and community leaders. They will have the monumental assignment to make recommendations by Friday, April 24.
Monday’s call began with a briefing by the Florida Chamber of Commerce. For breaking news and additional information on the task force, click here.
