America’s much-loved contemporary musical “Hamilton” finally makes its way to Jacksonville starting next Tuesday at the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts. The show won 11 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, in 2016.
The touring cast will perform 16 shows over a 12-day run from March 17-29, with matinee and evening shows on the weekends. The shows usually sell out, so check early and often.
Tickets are available through the event site, but brace yourself. As popular as this wonderful show is, the face value tickets range from $100 to over $400, with third-party sites always offering seats with their premium.
