COVID-19 continues to turn the routine into the extraordinary and haircuts are no exception. Most men think little about their hairstyle, but does that mean they would trust their partner, or themselves, with the scissors?
With barbershops around Florida closed, men here and around the world have found relief from shaggy heads by grabbing the clippers and sporting a haircut formally reserved for new military recruits and young boys – the buzz cut.
Of course, there is some middle ground. My wife recently helped by trimming my hair and I can’t say I was not nervous – even with her surgeon-steady hands.
