New year, new boat

Not able to get out on the water next weekend? The Jacksonville Marine Association will be hosting the next best thing: the 68^th annual Jacksonville Boat Show. Friday, Jan. 24, through Sunday, Jan. 26, there’ll be a variety of boats displayed at the Prime Osborn Convention Center, including skiing, cruiser, fishing, personal watercraft and more.

Fishing seminars will be taking place throughout the three days with captains Don Dingman and Dennis Young. The first 100 kids in attendance on Sunday will receive a complimentary life jacket.
