With the NFL kicking off this week, the Jaguars begin the season as one of only five teams in the NFL to allow fans in the stadium to begin the season.
By capping the capacity to 20 percent at TIAA Bank Field and seating fans in pods consisting of family or close friends, Jaguars’ management is trying to get fans in seats.
There are many restrictions and procedures, and fans are advised that alternate-space parking will be such that tailgating is strongly discouraged. That’s a legendary part of Jacksonville football, so it will be interesting to see what that truly means.
