Orlando Shakes is in the midst of performing the play within a play, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” showing now through April 17 at the Walt Disney Amphitheater at Lake Eola Park, 195 N. Rosalind Avenue.
Regarded as one of Shakespeare’s finest comedies, the play is contained within 100 minutes with no intermission, and tickets are $22. Children under five are not being admitted and Covid-19 protocols are in place.
The production is receiving terrific reviews and if the play is your thing, this may be a first opportunity for outdoor theater entertainment this year. The set and lighting designers do a magnificent job.
