On National Secondhand Wardrobe Day, think green

National Secondhand Wardrobe Day

In recognition of National Secondhand Wardrobe Day on Aug. 25, Goodwill Industries of North Florida (GWINF) and the Florida Recycling Partnership are reminding Floridians of the power of reuse and encouraging everyone to boost their personal recycling and keep our communities green by donating gently used clothing and household goods.

When you donate clothing and other items to Goodwill, you help divert useful items from landfills and play an important role in creating job and educational opportunities for thousands of Floridians.

Recycling is more than simply sorting trash. Get involved in this “green” cycle by visiting your local Goodwill store.
