With the COVID-19 vaccine becoming more and more available — in Florida, the age eligibility was just lowered to 50+ — it’s important to familiarize yourself with the new Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance for fully vaccinated people.
Currently, those who have received both shots in a two-dose series or the single-dose vaccine and then waited at least two weeks can:
• Visit with other fully vaccinated people indoors without wearing masks or distancing.
• Visit with low-risk unvaccinated people from a single household indoors without wearing masks or distancing.
Refrain from quarantining and testing following a known exposure if asymptomatic.
