Downtown Orlando is looking forward to a new addition coming soon. Luminary Green will be a 2.3-acre park for residents, workers, students and visitors to enjoy the City Beautiful.
It will feature interactive light installations that illuminate the park both day and night. Creative Village is currently in phase I of a three-phase development plan. Construction of this addition to the park is anticipated to be complete by the second half of 2021.
The city-owned, city-managed space will also feature the names of local luminaries, individuals who have served as shining examples in the community and continue to inspire us today.
