The University of South Florida’s Patel College of Global Sustainability released a new study on Feb. 20, 2020, showing that Florida’s Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) programs are booming and producing significant economic and environmental benefits for the state.

PACE is a public-private partnership which connects Floridians with affordable private financing to complete resiliency, energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements at their homes or businesses.

According to the study, since 2013, PACE property improvements in Florida have helped create over 20,000 jobs and cut electricity use by more than 960 million kWh, enough to power 78,000 homes for a year.
