Ready to ride the I-4 Express

by The 100 Companies

The long-awaited opening of the Interstate 4 Express lanes is imminent. The 21-mile limited access toll lanes from west of Kirkman Road (State Road 435) in Orange County to east of SR 434 in Seminole County appears ready to go from vantage points through Orlando.

The Florida Department of Transportation offers an interactive site explaining how access and tolling is going to work. Seven entrance and eight exit points are along the route, designed to accommodate variable pricing based on congestion.

Drivers must have a transponder like a Sunpass or Epass to use the toll lanes – PlatePass will not work.
