The Argillet Collection is coming to the Michael Murphy Gallery in Tampa on Sept. 16. The collection of Salvador Dali works is named for the famed artist’s publisher and confidante, Pierre Argillet.
Pieces in the Argillet Collection appear in museums throughout the world, and have enjoyed a home at the Museum of Surrealism in Melun, France as well as in the Dali Museum in St. Petersburg.
Visitors to the Michael Murphy Gallery event will have the opportunity to acquire pieces from the collection. And on Sept. 25-26, they will have a chance to meet Madame Christine Argillet, the daughter of Pierre.
