Despite the efforts of Florida’s legislators and federal elected officials, we will turn our clocks ahead one hour at 2AM this Sunday, marking the return of Daylight Savings Time.
Florida is on the record as requesting a national change to permanent DST. The Georgia State Senate just passed legislation that would opt them out of the system, and have the Peach State on permanent Standard Time. While the bill is on to the House, if passed it would guarantee mass confusion along the Florida-Georgia line.
So what time would your Delta connecting flight really be at Hartsfield-Jackson? The mind boggles.
