Tallahassee fireman follows country music dream

by The 100 Companies

Jason Byrd balanced a career with the Tallahassee Fire Department with a career in Music City which proved challenging until the day he met the legendary George Jones. Soon, small gigs at local bars turned into major opportunities on stages across the country, opening for powerhouse artists such as Tracy Lawrence, Loretta Lynn and Dierks Bentley.

Jason recently released “Better Life” which he wrote and performed as a duet with George Jones years ago.

You can catch Jason as a special guest with Billy Dean on Friday, Dec. 10 at Fire Betty’s Arcade Bar at 7PM. Tickets here. Congratulations Jason!
