Many remember exactly where they were when the planes hit the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the crash in a Pennsylvania field on September 11, 2001.
How do we convey the feelings of shock, terror, anger and grief to those born after 2001? The 9/11 Memorial & Museum will share, “the compassion we showed to one another, the resolve we demonstrated to the world, and how, in the face of unfathomable loss, we rose as one” this 20th anniversary.
News networks, PBS, History Channel, Netflix and others will be featuring movies and documentaries beginning Wednesday, Sept. 8 and through Saturday, Sept. 11.
