The back to school sales tax holiday starts July 31

Long one of the most popular of the sales tax holidays, Florida shoppers will take advantage of this year’s Back-to-School savings starting Saturday, July 31.

Tax free items include the first $1,000 off the sales tax of computers and accessories. Clothing, footwear and accessories that sell for $60 or less are included, as are most school supplies selling for $15 or less, with no limit on the number of items purchased.

Strategizing and maximizing a plan to save money is a great way to start the school year for many Florida parents. The holiday ends Monday, Aug. 9.
