The Players Championship, traffic and you

One of our favorite events is The Players Championship in Ponte Vedra Beach. It’s the richest tournament in golf, the course was built specifically for spectators in the stadium venue, and yes, there’s the “Island Green.”

The only real challenge is the traffic coming in from Jacksonville.

Cagey veterans know to go early, or just Uber to and from the course, a smart move for Sawgrass Splashers. The traffic on A1A can back up all the way from the Marriott turnoff to Butler Boulevard, so a smart option is to take advantage of the CR-210/Nocatee Parkway coming from the south.
