Theme parks prepare for spring breakers

Orlando-area theme parks are preparing for the annual visit from students across the nation starting in early March. Spring Break in 2021 will come with new challenges, including a longer window of vacation stays as schools have adjusted their calendars while coping with the pandemic.

Universal Studios Florida has announced a wider blackout period for employee complimentary passes from March 13-April 10.

Maintaining mask and social distance requirements of the famously friendly students who have come to Florida for decades will be more difficult beyond park boundaries. Nightclubs and restaurants will be working to avoid online viral superspreader status.
