Orlando Utilities Commission worked with the City of Orlando and Orlando Science Center to create Central Florida’s first Tiny Green Home. This hands-on experience includes interactive displays to educate the community on how to increase sustainability.
This jam-packed 200-square-foot house will teach visitors about energy and water conservation measures, sustainability rebates, vehicle electrification, renewables, composting, food gardens and many other efficiency methods. After understanding how these improvements to the home help the environment, guests are encouraged to make similar changes to their own homes.
The display will be open to the public in March and is located at the Orlando Science Center.
