Voices of Trees at Tallahassee’s Cascades Park

by The 100 Companies

Sometimes you need an escape from reality — especially in Tallahassee, where the hustle and bustle of the political process never stops. Fortunately, at Cascades Park, right in the heart of downtown, there’s the Voices of Trees sound walk.

Developed by the Council on Culture and Arts (COCA), 100 Thousand Poets for Change and the City of Tallahassee, this immersive experience encourages park visitors to follow a designated route while listening to a selection of original poems through the Echoes app.

The poems, written by local poets, are intended to celebrate the beauty of nature while facilitating reflection and quiet contemplation.
