Clubhouse is a new app that already has the attention of Elon Musk, Kevin Hart and Oprah with its April 2020 launch. It is an invitation-only audio-chat iPhone app that reached $1 billion in value in January, with over 600,000 users.
Think part podcast, part conference call, part social media app. Clubhouse features a wide variety of clubs and virtual rooms with conversations on diverse topics, like talk shows, music, networking, dating, performances and political discussions.
Keep the conversation private to a small group, or broadcast with thousands. Look for Facebook, Twitter and others to announce similar versions very soon.
