Following a cancelled event in 2020 and a restructured event in 2021, Word of South makes a triumphant return Friday, April 8 through Sunday, April 10 at Cascades Park in Tallahassee. The festival, which draws literature and music lovers from across the state and even the nation, will be free to attendees.
Like always, this year’s programming will have something – or someone – for everyone, from 11-time Grammy-nominated country singer Jamey Johnson, to Meg Gardiner, an author known for her bestselling “Hitchcockian” thrillers, to Joy Sheffield Harris, who has penned many Florida-centric cookbooks.
