Artist Darryl Rueben Hall‘s one-man show, Dinner with Booker T., will kick off what’s sure to be a memorable Black History Month celebration in Orlando.
Running from Thursday, Jan. 27 through Sunday, Feb. 6 at the Harriett Theatre, the 70-minute show will recognize Booker T. Washington, one of the most influential African American educators, speakers and authors in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with “original rhetoric, research, song, dance, speeches, historical dialogue and visual presentations.”
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about an incredible man who was born into slavery and later became a trusted presidential advisor.
