Northwest Florida businesses net millions in defense contracts

Multiple Northwest Florida businesses have recently secured defense contracts worth millions, according to the Northwest Florida Daily News.

Fort Walton Beach-based Williams Electric Co. Inc. was awarded a portion of a $95 million contract for electronic security work. Reasor-Asturian JV LLC earned a $13.9 million deal with the U.S. Marine Corps for construction work. And EMR Inc. out of Niceville netted a $12.3 million arrangement for design and construction work at Patrick Space Force Base.

The Northwest Florida Daily News has tallied close to a dozen such recent defense contracting deals awarded to companies in Northwest Florida.
