HBO’s “Game of Thrones” long-running series not only brings back the memory of fire-breathing dragons, but also the fact that the final episode aired in 2019. Fast-forward through the 2020 pandemic, and we can’t seem to get enough.
Producers will tell the story of The Great Tourney at Harrenhal, which was mentioned both in the series and in George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire novels, on Broadway, London’s West End and Australia starting in 2023.
Martin reports the untitled play takes place 16 years prior to the “Game of Thrones” and includes many of the series’ well-known characters.
