Jacksonville’s Ultimate Urban Circulator

Thanks to sweeping expansions and modernizations to the iconic Skyway, Jacksonville commuters will soon be able to take the most cutting-edge method of transportation to work: the monorail.

In 2014, following nearly 30 years of faithful service, the city’s current transit system was assessed. This later lead to the establishment of a diverse advisory group and, subsequently, the Ultimate Urban Circulator program (U2C), which will provide residents with high-frequency monorail service that is accessible and flexible for all commuters.

With an exciting vision involving autonomous technology and community engagement, Jacksonville is certainly on track to develop a world-class monorail system.
