With tourist dollars unspent and demand unmet, Visit Florida is planning an aggressive marketing campaign to make the state a first choice for vacationers and travel everywhere.
Dana Young, CEO of Visit Florida, announced two recruiting trips this summer, one to Mexico in June and another, pending travel restrictions loosening, to the United Kingdom. The trips bring far more than tourist awareness, as these missions have long returned great benefit to the state in international business investment and relocation.
Buoyed by a record-high $80 million budget, Visit Florida will embark on a Florida advertising campaign nationwide and around the world.
